Buyers

When you register with London Sales & Lettings you’ll find that we take the time to listen to your needs and then help you identify properties that are most likely to suit.

Before you start looking know your budget

You really need to know how much you can afford before you start looking for a property. There are many factors that can affect how much money you can borrow so we can happily recommend an independent  mortgage adviser who will show you what is available in the whole market and provide you with an offer in principle.

Register your details

Be the first to hear about new properties available for sale. Once we have all your contact details we are able to call you or email detailed property particulars for you to choose from. Either email back or call to arrange a viewing.

Viewing property

We will accompany you when viewing our properties which will help us get a thorough understanding your preferences. We suggest you see as many properties as you can, however if do you find the perfect property early on in your search then don’t delay making an offer.

Negotiating & Making an Offer

Once you find the perfect property for you, move quickly to secure it. Don’t assume the vendor will take an offer lower than the asking price. If the property is priced correctly it is likely to sell at or very close to the asking price. To avoid potential issues later on in the sales process, make sure you are clear about what is and what is not included in the sale.

Conveyancing Process

You will need to appoint a solicitor or conveyancer to deal with the legal process of buying a property. We are happy to provide to recommend a solicitor to offer a competitive quote. The conveyancing process normally takes 6 – 8 weeks depending on whether the property is empty or in a chain, if you already have a provisional mortgage offer this can significantly reduce the amount of time it takes.
